Tom Lovelace

Tom Lovelace

Tom Lovelace’s works at the intersection of photography, performance and sculpture. His practice is grounded in a reinvention of everyday objects, materials and processes. Fabricating temporary structures, orchestrating within them sculptural installations that he then re-photographs, he reveals the tangible materiality of the object, whilst portraying the optical truth of photography. By moving these disciplines Lovelace explores the boundaries of representation.
